Elevator and Escalator Certification Services per ASME A17.1/CSA B44

As a reputable certification organization, TÜV SÜD America Inc. offers various certifications according to ASME A17.1/CSA B44, the safety code for elevators and escalators. This North American prescriptive Standard is for the design construction, installation, operation, testing, inspection, maintenance, alteration, and repair of elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators, moving walks, and material lifts. • Type Tests and Engineering Tests as per Section 8.3 of ASME A17.1/CSA B44
• SIL rating for E/E/PES (Electrical/Electronic/Programmable Electronic System)
• EMC testing as per EN12016 (EMC-Immunity)

Going Green Services–VDI 4707 Part 1 "Energy Efficiency of Lifts (Elevators)"

TÜV SÜD offers the application and classification of energy efficiency classes for your elevator(s) according to VDI 4707 Part 1. This is the first guideline which introduces energy efficiency classes for elevators. TÜV SÜD provides you with measuring and calculation of energy demand and consumption and ensures the evaluation and labeling according to standardized criteria. The result is a certificate identifying the energy efficiency class of your elevator(s).
