Relocation to Peabody, Massachusetts Allows for Future Growth
Peabody, Massachusetts, December 19, 2007. TÜV SÜD America Inc., a global testing and certification services firm will relocate and expand its NAFTA Corporate Headquarters to Peabody, Massachusetts in December to meet rapid growth.
TÜVs corporate offices and testing laboratory have been located in Danvers, Massachusetts, at 5 Cherry Hill Drive. The move will relocate the corporate offices to 10 Centennial Drive, Peabody, Massachusetts. The testing laboratory will remain in Danvers. The new, 18,000-plus-square-foot headquarters will significantly increase the total office space the company presently occupies. The new space will also allow the company to expand for future organic growth.
TÜV SÜD America has been in business for more than twenty years in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and employs more than 750 employees in the NAFTA region, said Mr. Karsten Xander, TÜV SÜD America, President and CEO. In 2006 TÜV achieved many important milestones, including two major acquisitions - EST Testing Solutions and PetroChem Inspection Services. 2007 has proven a year of marked growth with anticipated global sales estimated at 1.8 billion for TÜV SÜD globally. The new Peabody location is more convenient to major highways, Rt. 95 and Rt. 128, providing TÜV with better access to our New England clients, as well as them to us, but most importantly offers more space and resources to meet the demands of our growing business, concluded Mr. Xander.
TÜV SÜD America headquarters will be at the new location effective December 20, 2007.
