TÜV SÜD America Inc., a global testing and certification services organization, is pleased to announce that Mr. Dirk Schroeter, Product Manager Industry Service, and Mr. Carsten Schumann, Engineer and Elevator Expert, will speak at the 19th International Congress on Vertical Transportation Technologies Elevcon 2012 USA. Held May 22-24, 2012, the congress and exhibition will take place at the Deauville Beach Resort Congress Center in Miami Beach, Florida.

Mr. Schroeter and Mr. Schumann will present "Elevator Certification Processes - Global Approach and Regional Certification" on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. The paper will discuss both the European Lift Directive and the Performance-based Safety Code ASME A17.7/CSA B44.7, comparing and contrasting the differences in their applications.
